Multi-brand car workshop joins the world’s largest workshop network
Bosch Automotive Aftermarket inaugurated one of the largest Bosch Car Service (BCS) facilities in Panchkula, as part of workshop chain network expansion drive.
The workshop was inaugurated by Bosch India Regional President – Automotive Aftermarket Anjan Kumar. The multi-brand car service concept from Bosch, with a global presence spanning 100 years, currently has about 250 service touchpoints across India.
Partnered with M/s Speed Links, this multi-brand service concept joins the world’s largest workshop network with a global footprint of more than 15000 workshops across 150 countries.
Bosch Automotive Aftermarket addresses the need created by increasing customer demands for quality service and genuine parts for mass brands and premium segment cars, technologically advanced products, growing pre-owned car sales and the number of cars running on Indian roads out of the OE warranty.
After adding 100 workshops to its network, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Division further plans to expand its network count by targeting significant growth in 2021 and beyond, thereby continuing the remarkable success story of Bosch Car Service in India.
Speaking at the inauguration, Bosch India Regional President – Automotive Aftermarket Anjan Kumar said the company welcomes Sunil Goyal and his energetic team to the growing family of Bosch Car Service and take pleasure in inaugurating this world-class facility which brings closer to the car owners in the Tri-City.
“Bosch Car Service is well-positioned as the best alternative to the car workshops in India by offering customers a superlative experience of car service. With diagnostics and high-end workshop efficiency tools, we are certain that the customers would be overwhelmed with a superior customer experience in this facility,” said Anjan Kumar.
Strategically located in the automotive hub of Panchkula and the vicinity of many car dealership workshops, the Bosch Car Service outlet caters to the requirements of customers in the adjoining cities of Chandigarh and Mohali in the Tri-City.
The workshop facility sprawls across an area of approximately 36,000 sq. ft with about 40 bays for multi-brand car service. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment such as the KTS (ECU diagnostic scanner with ESI software for vehicle diagnosis), the workshop operates with a manpower capacity of 28 people and with a capacity to service more than 45 cars in a day.
The range of services include periodic maintenance, ECU diagnostics, brake service, clutch overhaul, suspension system, AC diagnostics and service, aggregate repairs, body repairs and painting, wheel balancing, tyre service, car wash and car detailing.
