Bengaluru, NFAPost: Revisewell, an AI-based edutech startup from Bellary, is making an impact in learning practice implemented by schools with its proactive algorithm to track learning along with students, teachers and school management.
Started by two brothers, Karthik Khadke and Vivek Khadke from Bellary, the startup found an opportunity during the Covid-19 pandemic hit education sector where students are confined to their home.
Interacting with NFAPost, Karthik Khadke said the company ventured into edutech in April this year with new student tracking system.
Student tracker
“Revisewell is a startup which brings school-like experience to home and unique student tracking system that helps schools to cater to the students and help them understand the concept even they are at home,” said Revisewell founder Karthik Khadke.
Hillspeak Internet Pvt Ltd, the holding company of Revisewell, started its journey in 2016 when the brothers decided to form a company to come up with some solution for OTT platform.
“After my brother finished his Aeronautical engineering and me finishing Diploma in electronics, we formed the company to do a bit of software development and web development activities. Then soon got into entertainment space via OTT platform. Here we produced content along with individual artistes,” said Karthik Khadke.
Learning activities
As they failed to monetise the business model they stumbled upon the opportunity in education space. “Now our AI tracking solution is deployed in various schools in Bellary and Raidurga. We are getting overwhelming support from school authorities and local MLA to expand our presence,” said Karthik Khadke.
Revisewell has come up with an algorithm which will track how long students engage with the video that is shared for the students as part of the learning activities.
Karthik Khadke said tracking is very important to understand the learning activities of the children and help teachers to engage with them proactively.
“Besides tracking the learning of students, Revisewell algorithm helps teachers to find those who are performing very bad in certain subjects. It will help in engaging with weak students very proactively,” said Karthik Khadke.
Revisewell is engaged with government schools as the founders believe in helping the people who are living bottom of the pyramid.
“We believe in education for everyone and that is the reason we support free education for the government. We are getting an overwhelming response from these educational institutions,” said Revisewell founder Vivek Khadke.
The startup has on-boarded around 10 schools and on the final stage to onboard more than 25 as new clients. “We have come up a subscription model to make revenue as we will fix an amount for each kid from a school annually. We are planning to add other suites of products for school going forward so that it can emerge one touch for the requirement of a school,” said Revisewell founder Vivek Khadke.
