Bengaluru, NFAPost: Former Infosys CFO Rajiv Bansal joined in the Senior leadership position in the Dalmia Bharat Group .
Besides chief financial officer at DXC Technology, Rajiv Bansal also worked as CFO at both ANI Technologies, which owns ride hailing company Ola. He had a proven track record by working for 17 years with Infosys Ltd.
Expressing happiness over his appointment, Dalmia Bharat Managing Director Puneet Dalmia said Rajiv Bansal brings with him rich global experience, proven leadership and deep strategic insights.
“He will be working very closely with me and Mahendra Singhi – MD & CEO, Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd to strengthen our existing goals and strategies and in formulating and implementing newer initiatives that align with the long-term goals and vision of the company. Dalmia Bharat Group, a manufacturing conglomerate dealing in Cement, Sugar & Refractories,” said Dalmia Bharat Managing Director Puneet Dalmia.
Rajiv Bansal has over 26 years of experience across industries like Power Generation, Telecom, IT Services and Internet Startups. He resigned from Infosys in 2015 after a nearly 17-year stint in Infosys. In March, Infosys said it has paid Rs 6 lakh as compounding fees in the matter related to severance agreement with former CFO Rajiv Bansal, which may finally settle the long-drawn severance pay row that had surfaced in 2016.
Though Infosys had earlier agreed to pay Rajiv Bansal a severance amount of Rs 17.38 crore or 24 months of salary, the company had suspended payments after some of its founders had expressed their displeasure on the board’s decision to make severance payments, which forced the earlier board to arbitrarily halt the payments.
