No place for Made In China goods on the ecommerce platform
Bengaluru, NFAPost: The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has announced the launch of the logo of its upcoming e-commerce portal “BharatEMarket”on 30th October at New Delhi.
In order to club the physical trade with the growing e-commerce market in the country, the CAIT had announced the start of its own ecommerce platform a few months back.
Now, CAIT has another step in its effort by launching the brand logo for Bharatemarket and will bring revolutionary change in the e-commerce ecosystem of India.
The portal Bharatemarket has been duly equipped with the latest technology, robust logistic systems embedded with digital payments and several other distinguished technologies.
There will be no foreign investment ever in the portal and no item produced in China will be sold on this portal. The data will be stored in Indian on servers located in India. In its true sense, it will be a truly Bhartiya e-commerce portal-said the CAIT.
CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal while making this announcement on the occasion of Dussehra said that the logo of Bharatemarket has been designed by one of the renowned advertising and branding Company of the Country.
“The logo has been designed on the basis of the suggestions received from traders and consumers in a national survey conducted by the CAIT a few months back. The logo has been designed in a manner that it speaks for itself about the special features of Bharatemarket which will truly reflect the great traditions of India,” said CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal.
They further said that the Bharatemarket will be much different from other e-commerce portals providing both Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumers (B2C) trade facilities in a most modern way.
The portal will provide end to end solutions i.e. from manufacturers to consumers, there will be a robust supply chain.
CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said that the current physical supply chain system will be converted into an electronic system on the portal providing the traders an additional business avenue.
“Now, the shops of the traders across Country will remain open 24×7. The Bharatemarket will be an e-commerce portal by the traders, of the traders and for the traders and consumers of India,” said CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal.
CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal further said that the unique feature of the Bharatemarket will be to convert on ground the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is vocal for local and Atmnirbhar Bharat having much focus on digital payment solutions.
The CAIT has more than 40 thousand trade associations across Country as its affiliates thereby representing more than 7 crore small business all over the Country. The trade associations will be instrumental in onboarding of traders on Bharfatemarket.
