Chennai, NFAPost: An AI platform Precisely, which helps students find international opportunities, founded by Kirti Krishan, Desh Deepak Dwivedi, Hitesh Gautam, Pankaj Baranwal and Saurabh Patel, in 2018, has been witnessing a 50% spike in traffic both on app and website, mostly from tier II and tier III cities.
Hailing from tier II and tier III cities, it was during the founders’ personal journey, from finding the right opportunity to understanding the international admission process, that they realised there were thousands of such students who face challenges every year when it comes to finding the most suitable international education opportunities and even the information related to their areas of interest.
“those who want to study abroad end up spending lakhs on a consultant who can help them through the process. This prompted us to gather knowledge base and open it up to other students so that they can get all the relevant information at one place without having to spend thousands of rupees on consultants and other resources,” Precisely Co-Founder and CMO Kirti Krishan told the nfapost
Over the last 6 months, users have spent on an average 15-20 minutes on the platform and app. Students can connect with the experts via chat or video conferencing through the Precisely app available on android platform.
The team of experts and mentors help students through the entire process, from carefully analysing the student’s background, finding them the right opportunity such as study programs, scholarships and internships that are tailored to every student’s profile and interests, to accurately tackling the application procedure and getting them closer to great career paths of their choice, the co-founder said.
Due to COVID, the adoption of online learning has accelerated, creating opportunities to further restructure the current methodology of teaching and learning.
Recently, Precisely launched LEARNAGE, which provides Tech support and takes care of all the hassles, helping tutors focus on teaching. Since the launch of LEARNAGE, the startup has signed 3,000 small to midsize coaching institutes and 65,000 students have registered on the platform and the app for their online learning options.
“We noticed the hassles most coaching institutes and online content creators have to face by juggling between different apps, tools and platforms such as Zoom, Google Cloud Services, WhatsApp amongst others to connect with their students,” he said.
“At Precisely, our aim has always been to bridge the gap between students and opportunities, especially for the tier II and tier III city students. With onboarding of coaching institutes onto our platform, mentors and students could explore the app as well as opportunities available to make better informed decisions,” he added.
The startup grows at around 57% annually, with over 100,000 users, and over 50,000 app downloads. Over 10,000 students have benefitted from its personalised services and have pursued their dream opportunities across national and international programs.
With a 21 member team divided across verticals such as product development, content and research, customer service, marketing, business development and sales, Precisely, backed by the network of the founding team, has a team of experts and mentors spread across 35 countries and 300 organisations.
