Global sales of high-capacity ink tank inkjet printer topps 50 million units
Bengaluru, NFAPost: Epson India, leading printing hardware and solution provider, announced that the company sold 4.3 million units of high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers (now known as EcoTank in most markets) till September 2020.
The number assumes significance as the company is selling the ink tank inkjet printers over 170 countries and regions. The company first launched high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers (now known as EcoTank in most markets) in October 2010, in Indonesia.
According to Epson, the global sales of cumulative global sales of our high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers recently topped 50 million units across the globe as of September 2020. Moreover, by saving on plastic, which is the main component of ink cartridges, the company estimates that CO2 emissions happened is measured approximately 166,000 tonnes.
Emerging countries
