Amritsar, NFAPost: Information technology industry body NASSCOM incubated startup geniSIGHTS has launched an artificial intelligence-powered business intelligence suite — FAST — to help small and medium enterprises perform data analytics through voice commands.
This suite will enable entrepreneurs to analyse their current business operations through the data analytics, and it will also generate data that can calculate future business trends for their enterprises, the company said.
geniSights also claims that it will take only 30 seconds to generate data-driven insights.
“It will render actionable insights and views to the small businesses and enable them to adopt data-driven strategies to weather the current economic environment,” the company said in a statement.
“COVID-19 has impacted small businesses significantly. These companies now are constrained to save on their operational costs and have to look for agile insights for competitive advantage. The FLASH think-tank realized an opportunity to create a solution that is affordable and helps small businesses to reap the data driven actionable insights,” said Co-Founder and Managing Director Rajesh Kumar.
The startup, founded by IIT Madras alumnus Rajesh Kumar and advanced analytics, machine learning and AI expert Parvathy Sarath, had launched ‘FLASH’, a business intelligence product in 2018, and has served multiple enterprise-grade customers in the U.S. and India.
“FAST is a focused solution on Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) enterprises that comes as a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ kit from the FLASH team to jumpstart world-class AI experience in 30 seconds. At this lightning fast set-up time, the conversational tool ‘FAST’ provides customizations at the hands of the decision maker on Key performance indicators and Charts, among others,” Kumar added.
The AI also suggests the type of charts and what level of detail is required for the business user. The users then can further upgrade/downgrade the features according to the AI learnings for the program to tune into the user’s choice, the company said.
“This launch is targeted to widen the scope of AI adoption making the platform affordable and accessible to small and medium scale businesses,” Co-Founder and Chief Analytics Officer Parvathy Sarath said.
geniSIGHTS is looking at the SMB market as a significant channel for customer acquisition in India and the U.S. There is continual learning and model-refining and it leverages geniSIGHTS’ domain-specific expertise on retail, eCommerce, finance, and travel, the company said.
